The Young and the Restless recap July 20
The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, July 20 has Nick and Phyllis shared their latest relationship failures, Mariah catching Tessa with another woman, Ashley teaming up with Kyle to watch Billy, and Devon telling Hilary they lost the baby.
Like Getting Hit By a Truck
Devon (Bryton James) demands to know how the accident happened, so Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Shauna (Camryn Hamm) take the blame – protecting Lily (Christel Khalil) in the process (at Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) urging).
Devon sits by recovering Hilary’s bedside and declares his love, but then is forced to tell her they lost their baby.
Jumping To Conclusions
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) make plans to go away for the weekend, but later Mariah sees Tessa hugging another girl.
Mariah’s mind is made up. There can’t possibly be an innocent explanation, and Mariah obviously doesn’t really want to be happy, ever.
Quad Redux
After Jack (Peter Bergman) urges Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) to remember that Billy (Jason Thompson) is an addict and to cut him some slack, she goes looking for him – only to find Billy gambling – again.
Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) finds Sharon’s (Sharon Case) engagement ring and worries that they’re over – again.
He and Phyllis exchange complaints, and she praises his scheme against Victor (Eric Braeden). The two are so turned on by how bad-ass they are, that they have sex on the kitchen island.
Scheming Sister
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) questions Billy about his plans for Jabot and some questionable billing and is rewarded by a business trip (i.e. banishment) to Berlin.
Concerned, Ashley convinces Kyle (Michael Mealor) to watch Billy, promising him a promotion if she ends up taking over at Jabot.
Kyle catches Billy drinking and is insistent that getting Phyllis back needs to be his first priority, which convinces Kyle that Ashley is onto something.
