The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, September 14 confirms it’s Victor’s world, we all just live in it. Except for Nikki. Nikki’s got his number. Plus, Cane rages against Reed (but really Victoria), and Victoria rages against Cane (really Cane).
To the Victor Goes the Liquor License
Noah (Robert Adamson) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) were having a hard time getting a liquor license. You know who could help them get a liquor license? Victor (Eric Braeden). (You know who is probably blocking their liquor license? Victor.)
Victor told Noah he was happy to do it. No strings attached. It’s just because he’s the greatest grandpa in the world, dontcha know?
Noah agreed to accept Victor’s kind offer. And he convinced Nick to do it, too — just this once.
In Loco Parentis
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) suggested that maybe Victor should heed the wishes of Faith’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) parents, and only see her when Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick say it’s OK.
Victor reminded her that he is a God and does not need to listen to what others want. He will do what he wants, and he will see Faith when he wants. You got that?
But while Victor was busy glowering at Nick, Nikki learned from Faith that Grandpa Victor went up to see Faith at camp and told her about Nick moving in with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). Grandpa told Faith to keep that to herself but, like Grandpa, Faith does what she wants when she wants. What will Nikki do with her new information?
Ground Control to Mattie
Cane (Daniel Goddard) grounded Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and forbid her from seeing Reed (Tristan Lake Lebeau). Mattie pointed out that the feud with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is all Cane’s fault, and she and Reed shouldn’t have to suffer for it. Mattie has a point.
