The Young and the Restless (YR) Recap: Nick Gets the Proof He Didn’t Want!

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, February 28 confirmed what characters didn’t want to know, as Nick ran a paternity test on Christian, Ashley spied Jack colluding with Victoria, and Devon discovered whether he can live or work without Hilary.

Don’t Know Him From Adam
Despite Phyllis’ best efforts, Sharon (Sharon Case) told Nick (Joshua Morrow) the truth about Christian. Phyllis admitted that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) confessed, but Phyllis insisted Nick’s ex was bluffing.

Nick decided to check for himself, and as he and Sharon waited at the hospital, they discussed their kids. He even apologized for how he dumped on her when he took Christian away. Nick insisted that Victor (Eric Braeden) can’t know about this – ha, Nick!

The results arrived and Nick sobbed in Sharon’s arms as he read the terrible proof that he isn’t Christian’s father.

Friend Of My Enemy Is My… Brother?
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) spied Jack (Peter Bergman) with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and guessed that they are plotting against her – no matter how much Jack denied it.

Ashley asked Billy (Jason Thompson) to help her get to the bottom of things, and he agreed. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) wanted to know what Billy’s chat with his sister was about, but he deflected by telling Phyllis how happy he is with her, and how he never wants to screw this up – but is afraid he will.

Sitting In the Big Chair
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) decided to teach Devon (Bryton James) a lesson about how important she is to him by skipping out on The Hilary Hour as it was about to go live. Devon urged Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to step in, and she nervously did it. Afterwards, an impressed Devon asked how she’d like to host The Mariah Hour? He decided to accept Hilary’s resignation, after all.

Well, that didn’t work out the way Hilary expected….
