The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, June 7 features parenting woes of all kinds.
Who’s Been Sleeping In My Bed?
Lily (Christel Khalil) discovered Shauna in Charlie’s bed, and dragged her to Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) office so the whole family can yell about it.
Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) explained the situation, and the Ashbys calmed down. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) suggested Shauna come live with her and Devon (Bryton James).
Remember When?
Dina (Marla Adams) was having a lucid day, so Jack (Peter Bergman) took her to the country club where she waxed poetic about the good old days when she was the center of attention, and about how boring she found the whole social scene.
She begged Jack for his forgiveness about confessing that John wasn’t his father. Jack insisted it doesn’t matter, but did ask who his father was. Dina claimed she doesn’t remember, but promised to try.
Jack assumed it’s dementia working, but maybe there were just so many men, Dina can’t narrow it down.
Giving It Your Best Shot
Sharon (Sharon Case) offered to leave Nick (Joshua Morrow) so that Victor (Eric Braeden) can’t use her past against him in the custody battle for Christian.
Nick wouldn’t let her do it. He went to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), who told Nick she is on his side but, yeah, Sharon is a drag, and he’s better off without her.
Nick and Jack talked about a real father being the man who raised you. Later, Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) stopped by and suggests arbitration instead of a nasty, public custody battle. Nick agreed and tells Sharon he intended to keep Christian and Sharon both.
