The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, December 7 features a Pearl Harbor of a day for Ashley, as she faces losing her company, her mother, and her brother.
Man Your Battle Stations!
After Jack (Peter Bergman) overruled a Jabot deal Ashley made, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) called a board meeting – which included Billy (Jason Thompson), Traci (Beth Maitland), and Lauren (Tracey Bregman), but NOT Jack — to try and make her position as his temporary fill-in permanent.
Jack caught wind of the attempted coup, and dragged Dina (Marla Adams) down to Jabot, parking her with Gloria (Judith Chapman), while he reasserted his dominance.
With everyone else out of the room, Jack and Ashley traded barbs. She accused him of disgracing their father. He snapped back that John was his dad – not hers. That’s something neither will be able to take back.
Their battle was put on the back burner when Dina went missing, but Gloria eventually found and returned her. Fed up, Jack said Ashley can watch Dina from now on! (They do know that they’re rich and can hire help, right?)
Step Up
Lily (Christel Khalil) was happy Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) son is recovering from surgery, but turned down Cane’s offer to let Lily hold him.
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) tried to do the same, but Cane taunted her into it, observing that he’s finally found Hilary’s Achilles Heel – she’s afraid of babies!
Now What?
Abby (Melissa Ordway) wanted to know the truth about Scott’s (Daniel Hall) feelings for her. Scott said he doesn’t have any. He’s attracted to her, sure, and he’d have sex with her again but… he loves Sharon (Sharon Case) and wants their relationship to work out.
