Noah announced that his relationship with Marisa is officially over on The Young and the Restless.
It turns out Marisa wanted to relocate to Spain, so the twosome decided to call it quits. The break up was definitely surprising, considering how hard the couple fought to be together and overcome Luca’s (Miles Gaston Villeneuva) constant interference. It’s left Noah suddenly single and somewhat lonely. After all, working at The Underground means he’s always surrounded by couples. Soap Hub asked fans of The Young and the Restless if you were upset to hear the pair had parted ways.
Not Upset or Surprised
Of the nearly 5,000 fans that responded, 53% of you saw this one coming and weren’t at all upset or surprised by the news. Marisa hadn’t been on the canvas for months, which made you wonder about the status of her and Noah’s (Robert Adamson) relationship. Their storyline was pretty much doldrums, since they got together, and there really wasn’t anywhere to go with it. Having it end is for the best.
He Needs a New Girl
Some 32% of you have taken the news in stride for one reason: you think Noah needs a new girl. He and Marisa were never the right match in your book. Their pairing always seemed forced and convoluted to you. You’d love to see Noah in the kind of romantic situation that his parents once had. Namely, having him fall for a poor girl from the wrong side of the tracks. Suddenly, mama Sharon (Sharon Case) would find herself in Nick’s mother Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) shoes, wondering if her son has gotten involved with a gold digger.
Yes, I Liked Them
The final 14% of you were sad and disappointed to hear about Noah and Marisa’s (Sofia Pernas) breakup. The couple were a perfect fit and had endured so much to be together. Now that they finally were, you were looking forward to some strong story between them. Instead, they’re just over and done. It’s not fair.
