Jill was furious on The Young and the Restless when she learned Lauren made a deal to save Fenmore’s with Jack without consulting her.
The two sisters immediately faced off about it. Jill (Jess Walton) protested, reminding Lauren she owned half of the company. Lauren countered that she didn’t want Fenmore’s becoming a subsidiary of Chancellor Industries and that the merger was happening.
She was doing this to save their business, not hurt Jill, and promised things would be thriving again soon.
An unconvinced Jill considered going behind Lauren’s back and making her own deal with Jack (Peter Bergman) for his share of Fenmore’s. Soap Hub asked fans to choose sides in this sisterly feud.
Team Lauren
Not surprisingly, 73% of fans are on Team Lauren (Tracey Bregman). She’s the person who’s been actively running Fenmore’s for years. It’s more than a business to her.
It’s her father’s legacy, and she’s determined to see it remain a success. If Jill was so interested in the business, she would have known there was trouble brewing and talked to Lauren about it sooner. The fact that she didn’t is proof positive that Lauren deserves to have the final business say.
Team Jill
While 25% of you understand why Lauren did what she did, you feel she was wrong to keep Jill out of the loop. Whether Jill has been hands-on at Fenmore’s or not, she deserved the courtesy of being told what was going on.
She is part owner of the company. Jill has every right to push Lauren to consider a deal with Chancellor. She doesn’t want Jack raking in the profits once things turn around. Jill would rather see the cash go to Chancellor. If she makes a counter deal with Jack, you feel Jill is totally justified.
