The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Tuesday, May 1 preview Jack resolving to stay the course no matter what, while Nikki strays off her chosen path.
Also, Billy ponders a new partnership that is bound to ruffle some serious feathers.
Damn the Torpedoes, Full Speed Ahead
While Jack (Peter Bergman) sat rotting in his jail cell, all he could think about was keeping Kyle (Michael Mealor) from taking over as CEO of Jabot and handing the company over to Victor by taking it public.
Now that he’s back behind the big desk, Jack has no intention of changing his mind about that.
But Kyle knows something that Jack doesn’t. Kyle has seen Dina’s (Marla Adams) interview confessing that John Abbott wasn’t Jack’s father.
Kyle knows that this could change everything. So, before it does, he tries to get his dad to change his mind about some other things.
Pick a Side
Though he didn’t come out and say it, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) picked up on the fact that Victor (Eric Braeden) figured out Arturo (Jason Canelo) was her boy-toy.
Victor wanted Arturo fired, but Nick (Joshua Morrow) protested that he needed Arturo to help Nick achieve his goal of ending homelessness in Genoa City.

Billy (Jason Thompson) returned to Jabot to help Jack keep Kyle from selling the company.
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) approved because she only voted for Kyle’s plan because Lauren (Tracey Bregman) made her.
Billy and Phyllis seem united on all things. But, that’s only because he doesn’t yet know about her part in helping Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nikki, and Sharon (Sharon Case) bury JT. If he did, would they still be together?
