The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Wednesday, May 3 find half of Genoa City suddenly interested in getting their hands on Dina Mergeron’s company. Victor (Eric Braeden) wants it, so does Neil (Kristof St. John).
And Jack and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) are curious why their mother is so popular all of a sudden — and what it might mean to them?
Who Is Dina?
A little refresher course on Dina Abbott Mergeron: She spun in the same social circles as Kay (Jeanne Cooper), and married their mutual friend, John (Jerry Douglas). Dina gave birth to three children, Jack, Ashley, and Traci. Then promptly abandoned them to flit about Europe.
She came back to Genoa City once all were grown. Dina and Ashley fought for the same man, Eric, then Ashley learned that John wasn’t her biological father. Remember when she told Ravi (Abhi Sinha) that she hated her mother? She has good reasons.
So while everyone else is happy to wine and dine Mrs. Mergeron, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley are more suspicious about why she’s suddenly divesting.
If Someone Has It, I Want It
Victor was too busy recently licking his wounds about Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and the kids turning their backs on him, but now he is ready to get back into the business saddle with the one child who still properly worships him — Abby (Melissa Ordway).
He’s ready to buy something big — and if he can beat someone else to the punch, all the better!

Devon thinks they’ve got this in the bag, and he is off to France to just cross the final T’s and dot the final I’s.
What will Devon do when he finds out Victor also wants the company — and that Jabot is invested in keeping them out of Genoa City?
