Brand new The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Phyllis is playing dirty with Jack, but it’s not what you think!

Has Jack Made a Mistake?
Trusting Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was a huge leap of faith for Jack (Peter Bergman) after everything his ex-wife put him through. Since cheating with his brother, ruining their marriage, and forcing herself onto Jabot, she’s not the most popular person in his circle. In fact, he’d rather completely ignore her existence. However, going after Victor (Eric Braeden) alone is out of the question. Jack knows better and having Phylis as a backup at least gives him an extra edge.

Phyllis Has Her Own Agenda!
Unfortunately, Phyllis isn’t exactly doing her part. Instead of helping Jack move full speed ahead with his sinister plot to take down The Mustache, she’s delaying him at every turn. She’s doing everything possible to hold off on creating more drama, because she knows Jack will lose out in the end.

She’s Trying to Keep Jack Safe!
At least her deception is all to save Jack instead of ruin him. She can’t build back their life together if Jack’s behind bars like Victor is threatening to do. She needs The Golden Boy free, so she can worm her way into his good graces.

Unfortunately, Red knows she better be sneakier than ever if she wants to win Jack over. He’s not going to take it well if he finds out she’s lying again even if it was for a good reason. Jack expects his ex to be on his side and do as he says no matter what.

Will She Get Away With Her Plan?
If her plan falls apart, Phyllis could lose it all. She’s walking a fine line and may not bounce back if she gets caught.
