The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nikki Stands by Her Man

Brand-new The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, September 7 promise a horribly sad day in Genoa City as the town mourns Adam’s loss. Grab a tissue and get ready to ugly cry.

Saying Goodbye
It’s time for Adam’s (Justin Hartley) memorial service, but there are plenty of people who think Victor should be held accountable for what happened. After all, if he hadn’t broken him out of prison, his son would still be alive. Spoilers reveal that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) stands up for Victor (Eric Braeden), especially since she knows all he did to try and help his son.

But, the guilt continues to grab hold of Victor’s heart. He tells Chelsea that if she wants to take Connor and move somewhere else to start over, he won’t stand in her way (this is HUGE folks!). Chloe, standing nearby, overhears — and we’re betting she’s not happy.

Despite Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) thinking he shouldn’t attend, Jack (Peter Bergman) shows up to mourn his best friend and the man he thought of as a son. Jack cared deeply for Adam and only wanted what was best for him.

A Glorious Past
Sharon (Sharon Case) loved Adam dearly at one point in her life. While it was over a long time ago, she still cared about his happiness. They had so many incredible memories together. (We’ll just gloss over his taking Faith, making Sharon think she died, and then giving her to Ashley to raise). She attends the memorial and pays tribute to their shared past.

Working Together
Jill (Jess Walton) has been up to her manipulating ways again. First, she tells Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that she’s needed on a business trip with Billy (Jason Thompson) and Cane (Daniel Goddard)–and then she uninvites Cane. She’s trying to play matchmaker, and Billy is over it. Spoilers tease that Billy and Cane make a deal. Our money is on Billy backing out, and Cane taking the meeting instead.
