The Young and the Restless Recap: Who Will Get Through To Adam?

The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, July 23 features Adam against Nick, Sharon against Chelsea, and a question of who will give in to whom? Plus, Abby had an offer for Phyllis, Summer wasn’t happy to see Theo with her mom, and Kyle explained his past to Lola.

Dealmaker, Dealmaker, Make Me a Deal!
Adam (Mark Grossman) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) lobbed accusations in front of the custody judge until he retired to process the deluge. Nick was terrified of losing his son, especially when Adam showed up, gloating.

Then, out of the blue, Adam offered to give up Christian in exchange for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). The way he keeps using the boy as a pawn — business, personal — suggests maybe he’s not the greatest daddy material?

Common Sense
Meanwhile, Chelsea apologized to Sharon (Sharon Case) for the whole whacking her over the head thing. The two women discussed Adam, and Chelsea said Sharon could always get through to him when nobody else could. Maybe she can fix this. Sharon went to Adam’s but left without speaking to him.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) sold Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) on the idea of opening a Society lounge in her new hotel. They shook on it. Theo also wanted to do business with Phyllis, who hired him to help with the grand opening, which displeased Summer (Hunter King). Phyllis wanted her boutique hotel to cater to celebrities. Do a lot of celebrities come to Genoa City?

Kyle (Michael Mealor) filled Lola (Sasha Calle) in on his years in New York City. There was lots of money, lots of partying, lots of wine,  and lots of women. But, who needs all that? He’s got Lola now! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
