The Young and the Restless Recap, Thursday, July 11: Nick Questions Jill

The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, July 11 celebrates Free Slurpees at 7-11 Day with Nick defending Chelsea — and turning to Jill for help defending himself against Adam. Plus, Kyle and Lola found themselves in the middle of a party.

Round Up the Usual Suspects
Paul (Doug Davidson) questioned Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) about Calvin’s death, and Chelsea went crying to Nick (Joshua Morrow) about being treated like a suspect. Nick confronted Paul, who pointed out that they didn’t even know that Calvin’s death wasn’t natural.

Nick insisted Adam (Mark Grossman) had the best motive for wanting his son’s adoptive dad dead — uhm…his other son’s adoptive dad. Nick assured Chelsea that she can count on him to protect her.

Taking a Chance
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) told Nick that Chance Chancellor was arrested for assault, and Adam bailed him out. Nick went to Jill (Jess Walton) for help, telling her that her grandson may be Nick’s best chance for holding onto Christian.

Jill claimed she didn’t believe Chance would get involved with someone like Adam, but later called him and demanded he get back to her. Jill growled at Kay’s (Jeanne Cooper) portrait. At least Kay isn’t alive to fight with Jill over yet another Phillip.

Daddy Issues
Celeste (Eva LaRue) admitted to Rey that she’s been in touch with his and Lola’s (Sasha Calle) dad and that he wants to walk Lola down the aisle. Rey warned her against it.

Theo threw a party at the Abbott house, interrupting Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola’s date night. Lola bailed, and Summer (Hunter King) teased him about being a fuddy-duddy like his grandfather.

Kyle and Lola tried again at her apartment, only to have Celeste barge in. Kyle hid and Celeste left – bidding a hidden Kyle goodnight as she did. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
