The Young and the Restless Recap: Theo Spills Kyle’s Secret

The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, August 15 features a day almost all about Kyle and Lola, as Theo told Summer what happened with him and Kyle in New York, Lola stressed that she was making a mistake, and Sharon and Rey reconnected over his sister’s nuptials.

The Truth Is Out! Will It Stay In?
Theo (Tyler Johnson) finally told Summer (Hunter King) Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) big secret. When they lived in New York, a girl got blackout drunk at one of their parties. They took her to the hospital and realized she was only 17, so they left her there to get the medical help she needed!

Summer was horrified and blames Kyle and Theo. How dare they not know the girl was underage when she showed up at their party, and how dare they let her drink as much as she wanted?

Don’t they know women can’t be allowed to make decisions for themselves? They’re not built for that!

Theo also told Summer that, the next day, the girl’s dad showed up and Kyle bought him off for $100K. Summer, the girl who returned to Genoa City driving her married boyfriend’s stolen car, was so shocked, she dumped Theo. Summer hightailed it to Kyle and told him to watch out for Theo — he’s out to get him!

Perfect Is As Perfect Does
Lola (Sasha Calle) worried that her relationship with Kyle had too much drama. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) reminded her where she lives. Lola dropped in on her wedding venue — despite Kyle not wanting to see her until the wedding — and they danced.

Sister Act
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) stressed over Lola stressing, but Sharon (Sharon Case) talked him down. He asks whether he should reach out to Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) about moving out, but Sharon was forced to admit her daughter is used to it. They then wondered how everything went so wrong.
