The Young and the Restless Recap: Phyllis Prepares To Play Hero

The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, September 11 features the aftermath of the drugged sangria at Abby and Chelsea’s opening, as Paul and Rey looked for suspects, Summer and Kyle discussed their kiss, and Phyllis got a confession. Also, Elena loves Devon.

Who Done It?
Paul (Doug Davidson) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) questioned Theo (Tyler Johnson), who pointed them in Zoe’s (Anna Sophia Barlow) direction. She hadn’t been answering his texts.

Zoe did, however, answer Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). They met in the same three feet of park where all park happenings happen, and she ranted about how Theo and Kyle (Michael Mealor) blew up her life.

By, presumably, keeping her from dying of alcohol poisoning. Zoe was also mad at Phyllis’ spoiled bitch of a daughter so, yeah, she put Molly in the sangria.

Phyllis records the confession, then called Abby (Melissa Ordway) – who sent her to voicemail while she and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) tried and do damage control about all the cancellations coming into The Grand Phoenix. Somebody did make a rising-from-the ashes reference.

Bygones
Phyllis’ spoiled bitch of a daughter, Summer (Hunter King), apologized to Kyle for kissing him while drugged. Lola (Sasha Calle) saw it all on the internet, but she’s not mad. It’s not Summer’s fault. Kyle assured her they’re OK.

Love Is All Around
Elena (Brytni Sarpy) checked in on Nate (Sean Dominic) before reassuring Devon (Bryton James) he’s going to be fine. Devon admitted he thought he was going to die and saw Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) again.

Funny he didn’t mention Katherine (Jeanne Cooper). Maybe he’s afraid she’ll take away his money. Elena then told Devon she loves him. They kissed. Nothing in their story changed much. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
