The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, January 16 features Phyllis wondering about Nick’s change of heart regarding Victor’s guilt, Lily and Cane talking at cross-purposes, and Mia continuing to tease Arturo for no reason anyone can figure out.
Loose Lips Sink Ships
Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) argued about Victor’s (Eric Braeden) guilt. Phyllis wanted to know why he’s suddenly so sure his dad is innocent.
Nick accused Phyllis of having a grudge against Victor, and she reminded him of all the horrible things Victor had done to her since before he went to prison – and after he got out early.
The fight continued after Nick returned from pumping Sharon (Sharon Case) for details about the case, and he nearly slipped and confessed that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) told him she killed JT (Thad Luckinbill). Phyllis backed off and swore she’s on his side, but looked very concerned.
Visiting Day
Cane (Daniel Goddard) visited Lily (Christel Khalil) in prison to fill her in on the kids. He told her about Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) acting out over breaking up with Shauna (Camryn Hamm) – though he didn’t tell her about him following in mom’s driving foot-steps.
He told her about Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) writing her college essay about her mom, and Lily worried it will turn the admissions officers off. But, when Cane begins waxing poetic about what they’ll do when she’s free, Lily shut him down – it hurts too much to talk about it.
Give Them Something To Talk About
Mia (Noemi Gonzales) called Arturo (Jason Canela) over so they can talk about what didn’t happen between them. Arturo demanded to know what she wants from him. Why can’t they just move on?
