The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, August 13, 2019 features Chelsea figuring out what Anita is up to — and getting something for herself in the process. Plus, Adam scared Christian into running off, Lola got a letter from her dad, and Abby had a proposition for Phyllis.
Laundry Day
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) figured out that Anita (Catherine Bach) stole money from Calvin before he died. Anita said Darrell (Gordon Thomson) was in on it. Darrell brought the ill-gotten gains to Chelsea and advises her to launder the money. She gave some to him and Anita.
(Seriously? This is what they hired Thomson for? There better be a lot more to this story — and to him.)
Laying Low Lies
Adam (Mark Grossman) came to visit with Christian, but Victoria (Amelia Heinle) lied that he’s sick and sleeping — they’ll need to reschedule. Adam followed Victoria to the part, where she was playing with Johnny, Katie…and Christian.
Adam approached the boy and called himself “Daddy.” A dumbstruck Christian ran off. Nick (Joshua Morrow), Adam, and Victoria searched for him. Adam found the boy hiding in a bush. He came out to play soccer. So why was he scared of Adam in the first place?
Walking Down the Aisle
Lola (Sasha Calle) got a letter from her dad. He wrote that he and Celeste (Eva LaRue) have decided not to reunite, and he understood why she doesn’t want him at her wedding. Lola wondered if she’s doing the right thing.
Partners In Crime
Devon (Bryton James) told Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) he wasn’t interested in buying the Grand Pheonix, either for her or for himself. So Phyllis approached Abby (Melissa Ordway) suggesting she buy it.
Abby agreed but wanted Phyllis to have a stake in it, too. She gave her a week to come up with the money. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
