When Anita, in the form of Daisy Duke herself, Catherine Bach, returned to The Young and the Restless to drop off Connor, she expressed surprise that Chelsea hadn’t re-hooked up with Adam. After all, Adam possesses Anita’s favorite quality – he’s filthy rich. (So is Nick, technically, so it’s not like Chelsea is slumming, exactly.)
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) claimed that Adam (Mark Grossman) is no longer the man he used to be. Is that necessarily a bad thing? Will Chelsea come to regret her choice of Newman brothers? Here’s how over 15,000 fans see it:
All Is Well
Good call, Chels, 67% of you are flicking a thumbs up. Wealthy or not, Adam is also cold and conniving. Sure, you’ve put up with that before. But why go for the encore if you don’t have to. He’ll keep hounding you about Connor, no doubt, but with the money Calvin left you — and Nick (Joshua Morrow) getting into Adam’s face, — you should be OK.
If you play your cards right, you’ll get to keep your son, your fortune, and the favorite Newman boy. That’s what we call a win-win… with no regrets.
We Think You’d Better Think It Out Again
On the other hand, 33% of the audience knows Adam will never give up on you. Both because of Connor, and because Adam doesn’t like to lose. He won’t quit until both of you are under his roof…and in his possession.
Sure, you can fight him. But that will lead to heartache — and lawyers’ fees. If you go back to him now, you get to skip all that. Plus, it might even help Nick keep Christian.
You’ll be a hero! A win-win of a different sort! And you won’t have any regrets, either. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
