The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, August 28 features Billy and Phyllis settling in at the Abbott mansion – temporarily, of course, as Ashley appeases Jack about Dina — and plots with Kyle to bring down her baby brother once and for all.
The More the Merrier!
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) dumped their suitcases in the Abbott living room and announced they’re going to be staying a while.
When Ashley (Eileen Davidson) was less than thrilled, Billy snapped that he’s John Abbott’s REAL son, and has a right to be there. Plus, it will make it easier for him to keep an eye on those plotting against him.
Phyllis admitted that she has some not-so-great memories of living at the Abbott Mansion with Jack (Peter Bergman) – and being thrown out of the Abbott Mansion by Jack, but swore she can handle it.
Both Phyllis and Billy were shocked by how much Dina (Marla Adams) has deteriorated. Jack was, too, and told Ashley he needs to find his biological father before it’s too late. So, we’re back on that again.
Ashley, meanwhile, discussed Billy with Kyle (Michael Mealor). Kyle thought revealing the Billy and Summer (Hunter King) relationship could get Billy into trouble, but Ashley would rather get her brother to gamble with company money again. Then they’ve got him!
Wedding Bell Blues
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) stopped stressing about Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) long enough to schedule a meeting of Sharon’s (Sharon Case) bridesmaids.
A stressed out Victoria (Amelia Heinle) ran out, and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) followed. Victoria announced she hasn’t seen her therapist in months since she can’t very well confess about JT (Thad Luckinbill).
Nikki promised that Mommy will fix the problem. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?
