What Will Gloria Do Next In the Battle for Fenmore’s?

Things are heating up on The Young and the Restless regarding the plan to save Fenmore’s department stores.

Lauren has heard Jack’s offer to invest in her company and asked him to put the deal in writing. Meanwhile, she’s readying to meet with old friend Eric Forrester (John McCook) to see if he might be willing to come on board.

In the interim, Gloria (Judith Chapman) remains caught in the middle between her daughter-in-law and Jack, the man she believes is the perfect person to help save Fenmore’s. Soap Hub polled fans about what you think Gloria will ultimately do, and nearly 6,500 of you responded.

Stick with Jack
The majority of fans, some 58%, firmly believe that Gloria will continue to collaborate with Jack (Peter Bergman).

She believes his sense of honor will win out once he’s part of Fenmore’s and that he’ll give her a job for all of her hard work in making it happen. Gloria’s aching to get back in the business world, and, at this point, Jack holds the key to making it happen.

Switch Over to Team Lauren
Now that Gloria knows Lauren (Tracey Bregman) has another possible investor up her sleeve, she’s worried.

That’s why 32% of you believe Gloria will switch to Team Lauren. If she can convince Lauren she was only siding with Jack to help her, Gloria’s hoping Lauren might appreciate her efforts and consider rewarding her with a job.

Walk Away from Everyone
The twist and turns of all of the above are getting too much for Gloria to handle. She never meant for this to get out of hand, so 11% of you feel she’ll walk away from both Jack and Lauren and let the chips fall where they may. If she’s lucky, one of the two will take pity on her and give her a job. If not, it’s back to square one for the unemployed, down and out Glo.
