Imagine When Adam Learns About Nick and Chelsea on The Young and the Restless (YR)

Rumors are running rampant that The Young and the Restless (YR) may be recasting the role of Adam Newman. Of course, Adam’s wife Chelsea is now in a relationship with his brother Nick, so that might make things a bit sticky.

Soap Hub asked fans if Adam returns — how do you think he would react to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick? Your answer was pretty clear.

How Could They?!
After over 8,000 votes were tallied, a whopping 73% believe Adam would not like the situation.

Who cares what he may have said to Nick (Joshua Morrow)? He didn’t expect the guy to move in on his wife. When he asked him to take care of them, he meant look out for them.

He meant it in a more protective and financial way. The last thing he meant was for Nick to take the woman he loves in the biblical sense. This will be a huge betrayal in Adam’s eyes and who knows how he may react.

It’s not like Adam hasn’t flown off the handle before with less provocation. Sure, he may have gone after Victor’s (Eric Braeden) jugular a time or two but this will be so much worse, you think.

Reap What You Sow
Still 27% believe Adam would understand. After all — they thought he had “died.” Adam, if alive, has certainly had a long time to think about things after what Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) did to him. He may come back with a more gentle outlook on life.

He would be getting a second chance (or is it more like seventh – kind of lost count at this point) at life and he won’t want to waste it with revenge. That is, unless Chelsea decides to stay with Nick over him. That may bring out a side of him no one wants to see!
