The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, November 22, 2021, finds Victor Newman and Ashley Abbott arguing over who is going to rescue a hapless Abby Chancellor, while Nicholas Newman first barks at his father, then at his ex-wife, and Noah Newman lets his sister in on his secret.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) took a tour of Genoa City, telling everyone how to live their lives. He started by listening to Ashley (Eileen Davidson) explain how she plans to help Abby (Melissa Ordway). Not good enough.
She won’t be able to pull such a complicated strategy off on her own. Victor will come and help! Ashley doesn’t want him to. Nikk Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) doesn’t want him to, either. Fine, Victor will do as they ask. He’s a giver, that way.
Next, Victor stops by Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James), where he shocks the younger man by assuming Devon will step in playing daddy for Dominic once Chance is declared officially dead.
Finally, he meets with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), where they agree to pretend to go along with Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) offer to leave Chance Comm alone if he steps down. They’ll bide their time, wait for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to fail…and swoop in to buy the company at a bargain price. They’re the good guys!
Y&R Recap: Crabby Patty
Nick (Joshua Morrow) sees Victor at Devon’s, where he snarks about Victor being such a family man! Devon cleverly intuits some tension.
Later, Nick comes upon Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) yelling at Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) for asking about Phyllis and Nick’s breakup. Phyllis stomps off, and Nick tells Sharon he isn’t going to talk to her about his latest failed relationship.
However, both parents pump Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) about what Noah (Rory Gibson) told her about his failed relationship back in London. Considering it was nothing interesting – Noah dated a fellow artist who got jealous of his success and they broke up – Faith declines to fill them in.
