You might not have known that Justin Hartley (ex-Adam, The Young and the Restless) has some pretty awesome skills besides acting.
The former fan favorite, appeared on Live with Kelly and Ryan this morning. Amazingly, during his appearance, he got the chance to shoot some hoops with newly crowned NBA MVP Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder!
The foursome divided into teams, and sadly nobody wanted on Hartley’s team, but that may have been a mistake. Ultimately, Ryan was a gentleman and allowed guest co-host Busy Phillips to be on the MVP’s team.
Shockingly, when it came time to shoot, Hartley was nothing but net on his first shot, and a cold Westbrook ended up missing his first shot, which meant Hartley’s team led for a while thanks to his excellent expertise.
Ultimately, though, Phillips managed to tie it up, and Hartley nor Ryan could come through with another basket leaving Westbrook to score the winning goal and giving the former soap star a stunning defeat!
Well, perhaps the stunning thing was really how amazing Hartley’s hoops skills are!
While fans have all but given up hope of a Justin Hartley return to Y&R, they’re still holding onto hope that perhaps Adam Newman will return in the form of another actor. Only time will tell…
Check out the video and let us know what you think. Were you surprised how well Hartley hung with the MVP?
