Billy Abbott has a deviously clever plan on The Young and the Restless. He is going to pretend to be having a nervous breakdown and going back to drinking and gambling. And this will somehow bring down Adam Newman, and maybe even Victor Newman.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) got tired of riding that merry-go-round, and though she tried to warn Lily, Billy’s latest squeeze is confident she will succeed where every other woman has failed. The Young and the Restless: Pleasure Before Business
Billy will inevitably fail – if only because Victor (Eric Braeden) must inevitably succeed – but an optimistic 28% of you are convinced that Billy and Lily’s love will, nonetheless, survive. Lily isn’t with Billy because of his business prowess. (She’d be pretty foolish if she were.) Lily is with Billy because of… Billy-related reasons. They’ll be able to survive this and move on.
Stand By Your Man
An almost equal 27% of The Young and the Restless fans, on the other hand, are convinced that Lily is doing the right thing. Billy left Victoria because she refused to unabashedly support every one of Billy’s self-destructive whims. He threw a stompy fit and announced he can’t be with a woman who didn’t believe in him. Lily isn’t going to make the same mistake. No matter what dumb thing Billy opts to do, she’ll be right there by his side, cheering him on. And it won’t bother her. She has a new job that Billy’s Mommy gave her.
