Who Is Jack Abbott’s Son Keemo on The Young and the Restless?

While some viewers may not realize it, Jack Abbott has two sons on The Young and the Restless — Kyle Abbott and Keemo Abbott. Although Jack rarely mentions Keemo, Y&R spoilers hint that his older son may soon have something to do with the storyline.

Young and the Restless: Keemo Abbott

Once upon a time, Jack (Peter Bergman) was a carefree playboy with no responsibilities dragging him down. However, in 1994, Jack’s backstory got an update, and he ended up being a Vietnam War veteran. And while he was overseas, Jack ended up in a relationship with Luan Volien (Elizabeth Sung), and unknown to him, Luan had his son named Keemo Volien Abbott (Phillip Moon).

Christian Blair (Lauralee Bell) befriended Luan, a local restaurant owner on The Young and the Restless. Ultimately, Luan asked Christine to help her find her son, Keemo, so Christine enlisted Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) to help. Eventually, they figured out that Jack and Luan had a past, and the couple ultimately reunited with Luan revealing she’d had Jack’s son, Keemo.

Keemo didn’t appreciate learning about his father, and when he came to Genoa City, he wasn’t happy to know Jack. Eventually, though, the two formed a relationship, and Keemo accepted Jack. Luan and Jack married, but she died of a terminal illness, and Keemo was furious that Jack kept the details of his mother’s illness under wraps.

Eventually, Keemo returned to Vietnam, and Jack rarely mentions his son. However, it looks like that may change in the upcoming weeks as Y&R spoilers hint that long-lost Keemo, or somebody connected to him, could be the one behind the mysterious texts Jack recently received concerning an address in Los Angeles.
