Ah, young love. Abby Chancellor just gushed about it when she saw Faith Newman with Moses Winters. But the course of true young love never does run smoothly, especially on The Young and the Restless.
So why should Faith (Reylynn Caster) and Moses (Jacob Aaron Gaines) be any exception? What over 2,000 voters need to see happen with Genoa City’s newest pairing:
We’re not in a hurry, 86% of you assure, and Faith and Moses shouldn’t be either. They should take this relationship slowly. Cute dates, homework together, concerts, and a private dinner overlooking the city thanks to Faith’s grandfather being a power broker. Sure, it makes them sound like they’re 70 instead of 17, but that’s how we like it. Faith’s parents were always rushing into relationships. And look where that got them.
Only 9% of the audience would like to see Faith and Moses act like real teens for a change. How about some attitude? How about some eye-rolling? How about some bonding about how adults are idiots and don’t know anything and isn’t it weird how all of life’s wisdom is to be found on Tik-Tok? And, oh, yeah, how about they stop being perfect and get into some trouble for a change. Right now, they’re the ideal young people…and seriously boring.
An even smaller 5% of fans want to throw a third party into the mix. Right now, it’s like these two kids live in a bubble. They don’t know anyone else their own age, so it feels like they’re hanging out together out of default. Maybe if they had some other friends, their particular connection would be more obvious. Or they’d both see that they could do better. Triangles are a soap staple. If you’re not going to get real, get soapy!
