The Young and the Restless fans watched Faith grow up from the time she was born – and promptly kidnapped – until now when she seems on the path to be making some less than great choices.
The Young and the Restless Polling
So since she’s growing up fast, she’s destined to take on more in the way of storylines. What do over 2,000 fans want for Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) little girl?
Boy, Oh, Boy
A winning 75% of the audience wants Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) to find a boyfriend. Only then will she be a true soap-opera leading lady. But you do hope he’ll be someone age-appropriate. If Sally’s (Courtney Hope) come-hither glances at Jack (Peter Bergman) are any indication, YR is open to all sorts of age gaps.
Which is totes progressive when you’re talking about legal adults. A little creepy when you’re talking about a high school girl. Faith already has an older friend in Jordan. An older boyfriend is not what she needs at the moment.
Rebel Without a Cause
Rebel, Faith, 18% of you advise. You have plenty of reasons to be pissed off. There’s your parents’ constant make-ups and break-ups. There’s Uncle Adam’s (Mark Grossman) misdeeds coming to light. And there’s new stepdad Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). Pick one.
Drink Up, Faith
She already had a vodka hangover, why not go all the way into alcoholism, 5% suggest. She can bond with Grandma Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). And give her parents something to argue about. Which in turn will bring Nick and Sharon back into each other’s orbit. And you know how that goes.
Illegal Acts
Why stop with alcohol, a last-place 2% shrugs. If you’re going to go bad, go all the way. Forget the alcohol. Jordan looks like the type who has access to drugs. If you really want to show your family how pissed off you are about all their shenanigans, go illegal. That sure will make them sorry! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
