Some characters have been on The Young and the Restless so long that there is nothing we don’t know about them. For instance, Lily Winters, Victoria Newman, Nicholas Newman, Billy Abbott, and Summer Newman were born on-screen, and we watched them grow up.
On the other hand, there are those who arrived all grown up – and with secrets. Whose past should The Young and the Restless explore, ASAP? What almost 2,000 of you told us:
It wasn’t even close, as a landslide, 81% of you voted for Ashland Locke. The guy is about to marry Genoa City’s princess, and all we know about him so far is he’s a ruthless businessman, and that his wife played him for a fool by dallying with – and getting pregnant by – a wet behind the ears boy toy. We want to know what makes Ashland (Richard Burgi) tick. And we want to know what he’s really after where Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is concerned.
A much, much smaller 9% is interested in Sally Spectra. And we don’t mean the Los Angeles days. Everyone already knows about that, and the rest of you watched it happen on The Bold and the Beautiful. But you’re sure that Sally (Courtney Hope) pulled even more dirty deals before she met the Newmans and Abbotts. Let’s have that stuff come out now!
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has been so busy researching her family, we’ve had no chance to really get to know her, 7% point out. Let’s put the spotlight on the legal eagle finally!
A meager 3% are interested in Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). There has got to be a reason why this seemingly smart and savvy woman keeps sabotaging her own happiness at every turn, and why she can’t settle on a man, even when she has two awesome ones at her beck and call.
