The Abbott family continues to shrink on The Young and the Restless, and viewers are not about to accept that sitting down. With Kyle Abbott in Italy, Ashley Abbott in Paris, and Traci Abbott in New York, Genoa City is desperate for some new – yet familiar – faces.
These Young and Restless Abbotts Need To Come Home
After all, it’s not fair that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is rattling around that lovely mansion all by his lonesome. Someone should return so he at least has someone else there at family breakfast time, right? Who should it be? What Y&R viewers had to say.
Son Set
We need Jack’s oldest son Keemo, 30% of you insist. Not only is he primed to take over Jabot from his baby brother, but Keemo’s Vietnamese heritage can diversify Genoa City in unprecedented ways. Keemo must have grown children by now who can join the young adult and teen scene, and there are a host of women he could romance. Bring back Keemo now!
The Good Sister on The Young and the Restless
Traci (Beth Maitland) has always been the conscience of the Abbott family, and 29% of the audience want to see her more often. Traci tragically lost her only child, Colleen Carlton – her heart now beats inside of Victor Newman, who was partially responsible for her death, but Traci is a saint – but that doesn’t mean Traci can’t find love again or even have another family. That’s the story you want to see!
Little Man
The vote continues to be tight as 27% pine for Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) return. He and Summer Newman (Hunter King) belong in Genoa City. Who cares if she found her dream job – and got away from her painfully obsessive mother? Our needs are much more important than hers. Come home Kyle and Summer!
My Young and the Restless Beauty
Only 14% are interested in seeing Ashley (Eileen Davidson) again. Maybe it’s because her leaving – after brutally tricking Jack about his parentage – left a bitter taste in your mouths. Maybe it’s because you’re afraid more Ashley might mean more Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). Or maybe it’s because you can’t have her back in Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) orbit.
