The Young and the Restless (YR) Recap: Twisted Schemes and Excuses!

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Tuesday, February 27 is the one fans have been waiting for!

JT tells Victoria that Mac is filing for full custody of their kids, and Victoria turns to a surprising person for advice. Victor pressures Phyllis to talk Nick into taking Christian and moving back to the ranch, while Phyllis pressures Sharon to keep mum about Christian’s paternity. Nobody listens to anyone else and the secret is out!

Mac Attack Is a Stab In the Back
JT (Thad Luckinbill) is horrified to learn that Mac is filing for full custody of their kids, but he tells Victoria (Amelia Heinle)to stay out of it. Vicky asks Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) what it was like living with them, but Reed whines that he never felt like a member of the family.

JT snaps at Billy (Jason Thompson) at the club when Billy suggests JT must have done something to provoke Mac. Victoria calls her boyfriend’s wife and leaves a message to talk about the situation. JT is furious and tells Victoria she has no right making unilateral decisions that affect him.

Talking Heads
While Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) employs a gentle touch to convince Nick (Joshua Morrow) to move back to the ranch with Christian, Victor (Eric Braeden) employs a more direct approach. Though not with Nick. That would be silly.

Instead, Victor bullies Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and tells her to convince Nick of Victor’s love. Or else!

Loose Lips
Phyllis has more important things to do, such as convince Sharon (Sharon Case) not to tell Nick about Christian’s paternity. She reminds Sharon of when Sharon pushed Phyllis down the stairs, then makes fun of how Sharon will break the news to Nick.

But nothing works. When Nick stops by, Sharon drops the bomb on him.
