The Young and the Restless (YR) Recap: Does Dina Tell The WHOLE Truth?

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Tuesday, September 12 proves a day of reckoning, as Cane gets disturbing news about his little girl, Phyllis vows to figure out what Victoria is up to, and Dina claims to tell Jack everything about Graham.

The Whole Truth and Nothing But the Truth
It’s cool to have friends in high places. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) asked Neil (Kristoff St. John) for Graham’s (Max Shippee) employment records.

She learned that he applied for a job at Mergeron several times, and was turned down several times – until he finally got a position, and then his rise was meteoric.

While Ashley chews on that, Jack (Peter Bergman) confronts Dina (Marla Adams). Tired of being cross-examined about the same thing over and over, Dina finally snaps and tells Jack all: Graham exposed a thief, and she’s grateful to him. That’s it.

Raise your hand if you think that’s really it. Now raise your hand if you think what Dina said about Graham not having any family is the more interesting tidbit. Now raise your hand if you doubt either of Dina’s revelations is true.

Daddy’s Little Girl
Cane (Daniel Goddard) gets a taste of his own medicine. First, Neil gives his son-in-law a tongue-lashing about hurting Lily (Christel Khalil).

Then, in a case of turnaround being fair play, Cane learns that Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) skipped her first period class. What will he do if he learns she’s playing hooky… with bad-example Reed (Tristan Lake Lebeau)?

Victory Over Victoria
Lauren (Tracey Bregman) dismisses Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) suspicion that Victoria is manipulating Brash and Sassy sales data at Fenmore’s.

Phyllis is right that the sales data is being manipulated. But it’s Billy’s (Jason Thompson) doing, not Victoria’s. Phyllis is sure she’s got the info she needs to bring her rival down. Oops….
