The General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, September 12 features a day of secrets, lies, and confessions. Yep, it’s just another day in Port Charles.
A Busy Day For Carly
Michael (Chad Duell) and Nelle (Chloe Lanier) spent some time at one of the many town bridges and discussed being the son of a mobster.
But, then Carly (Laura Wright) happened upon them and decided to tell Michael all about (Ja)Nelle’s dead fiancé. Nelle stood there silent, Michael stood there stunned, and Carly then walked away.
Carly also had a run-in with Sam (Kelly Monaco) where Sam told her she knows she only tolerated her all these years because she was willing to play second fiddle to Carly and Sonny. An angry Carly said that if she didn’t care about her, she wouldn’t be covering for her.
Motherly Advice
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) heard that part of the conversation and got Sam to confess she shot Sonny.

She warned Sam that sometimes it’s the coverup and not the crime that gets people in the most trouble. However, Sam was more concerned about the fact that Jason (Billy Miller) could linger in a coma forever.
She’s Going WHERE?
In a whole separate story, Kiki (Hayley Erin) told Griffin (Matt Cohen) that her mother was going to a spa, but when he found out it was one in Florida, he was concerned.
They did some digging and learned it wasn’t Florida at all, but instead Russia. They became even more concerned because Russia is an unusual place to visit these days.
Meanwhile, Ava (Maura West) found she had a companion on the plane to Russia, supplied by the clinic Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is sending her to. Apparently, this companion has a whole new face and told Ava to expect a whole new life.
