A huge part of the success of The Young and the Restless is that the show continues to feature familiar faces — characters and actors that the audience loves to watch. Tomorrow, Tracey Bregman brings Lauren Fenmore Baldwin back to Genoa City!
Tracey Bregman Is Back
As evidenced by the pictures in a recent photoshoot the actress, and with respect to YR’s other dynamic players, it’s safe to say that Bregman — like Justin Timberlake — is also bringing “sexy back.”
“Thank you @christianjleblanc @youngandrestlesscbs,” Bregman posted on her Instagram account. “Yup, I’m back and bringing it in on October 6th. So grateful to be back at my happy place 😍#lovemyjob @cbstv @sonypictures.”
The gorgeous photos, seen below in the post, were shot by photographer Olivia Womack (@oliviawomackphotography.) Bregman’s getting rave reviews on her post. Daytime pal Lisa Rinna (ex-Billie, Days of our Lives), now a cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, posted: “👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.”
“My question … posted @Melanie.Schultznielsen. “Has anyone been able to clone your genes! Because damn !!! They are amazing!!”
“Some things better with age,” posted @smittyman70. “You achieved that entirely. I may just have to tune into Y&R just to see you once and awhile. Your career has gone for so long. I was just a young man when I was watching that show more often. Now here I am a 50 year old man and you still blow me away.”
The Bold and the Beautiful’s Jennifer Gareis (Donna) posted: “You just keeping looking better and better and better and….. ❤️❤️💋💋.”
“YEAH!!! See you in the hall!” enthused John McCook, who plays Eric, Bregman’s former leading man, on BB. As viewers recall, the two had a torrid affair but put it in the past when Eric and Stephanie (Susan Flannery) were about to remarry. A provocative photo of Eric and Lauren was strategically placed in the minister’s bible at Eric and Steph’s ceremony. Needless to say, the wedding was off! Lauren and Stephanie had it out by the Forrester pool.
Bregman first joined YR in 1983 and has played the role ever since, including extended trips to BB. She won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Ingenue in a Drama Series in 1985, the first year of the category that has now been merged with male counterparts and is now called Outstanding Younger Performer in a Drama Series. What’s coming up next for Lauren and Michael? Tune in tomorrow to find out! The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
