The Young and the Restless Star Zach Tinker Suffers Tragic Loss of His Dog

Zach Tinker, who recurs as Fenmore on The Young and the Restless, continues to stay in touch with his fanbase via social media when he’s away from Genoa City. Sadly, the actor updated his followers with some tragic news.

Zach Tinker Suffers Huge Loss

“Today, after 16 years, I had to say good bye to my Dog Beatrice,” Tinker posted. “She was the sweetest, kindest, most wonderful dog a boy could ever hope to have. As many of you may already know, I’m not particularly religious.

“That being said, I hope that Bea is somewhere even more magical and beautiful than here on earth, and that she is someplace nice and safe. She deserves to be happy. I love you Bea— forever and always, no matter what. I hope I can see you again one day.”

Tinker’s friends and followers reached out to him with support. “Luke [Benward] and I send hugs,” wrote Modern Family star Ariel Winter, who plays Alex Dunphy on the ABC sitcom.

“Oh that’s so hard,” posted mamkymark7. “I’m so sorry for your loss .. loosing fur babies is so hard . She is now in Rainbow Bridge with my babies .. be safe 🙏❤️.”

The actor first joined YR in 2018. He hasn’t had a significant consecutive run on the show, but he scored an Emmy nomination in the category of Outstanding Younger Leading Actor in a Drama Series in 2019. He has stayed plenty busy in between Genoa City stints.

Tinker recently played a man on Station 19 who almost drowned, which prompted Dean Miller (Okieriete Onaodowan) to leave his corporate job and become a firefighter. Other credits for Tinker include Calculating Euphoria, Hollywood Fringe, Saturday Night at the Starlight, and 13 Reasons Why.
