Sharon Case has much to celebrate these days! The Young and the Restless star received a Daytime Emmy pre-nomination for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Drama Series and later, this year, she’s going to celebrate her 25 anniversary with the top-rated soap!
But there’s more! Now, the actress is celebrating her birthday. Case is making some birthday wishes!
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Case moved to California at the age of 3. She studied ballet and worked as a model before turning to acting.
Case’s first soap role was Dawn, the long lost daughter of Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), on General Hospital. After that gig ended, she joined As the World Turns as Debbie, playing her till 1993.
Next, Case landed the role of Sharon Collins on YR. She played out a star-crossed romance with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 1999. Today, she remains one of YR’s most enduring and favorite characters. Fans still hope that Nick and Sharon will reunite.
Away from Y&R, Case has appeared in the film Carpool Guy and the Hallmark feature Dad’s Home.
