Greg Rikaart is not a doctor but he’s going to be playing one on TV. No, Leo Stark isn’t getting his medical license on Days of Our Lives. Instead, his portrayer has landed a guest spot as a doc on a prim time show!
The Emmy-winning actor has been cast as a gynecologist on the long-running ABC series Modern Family! A partially obscured name tag Rikaart shared on social media indicates his character may be named “Dr. Williams.”
Rikaart broke the casting news himself on his Instagram page. “After all the comas I’ve been in it’s nice to be on this side of the bed,” the actor wrote.
ABC recently announced that Modern Family would return for an eleventh and final season next year.
