The Young and the Restless’ Hunter King and her sister, Joey King, are about to take the bake-off competition world by storm!

The King Sisters To Compete On Nailed It! Spinoff

The duo will be among the many contestants competing for a $10,000 grand prize in Netflix’s Nailed It: Double Trouble! — the newest incarnation of the streaming services popular Nailed It! series.

The logline issued by Netflix warns that “From best buds to brothers and sisters, these bakers are twice as bad.” So here’s hoping that the teams will be up to the task of creating delicious treats inspired by “Greek mythology [and] sugary desserts from dear old Grandma.”

As always, these playful kitchen wars will be hosted by Nicole Byer, chocolatier Jacques Torres, and a celebrity guest judge. Andrea Savage, Ron Funches, Lil Rey Howery, Bobby Lee, Brian Posehn, and A$AP Ferg will be among the many assuming the latter honor.

Though this will be her first time competing on a reality show, Joey King is no stranger to Netflix programming. She’s been headlining their popular Kissing Booth franchise since 2018, with the latest sequel scheduled for release later this year.

While The Young and the Restless fans have loved Hunter King as legacy character Summer Newman (on-and-off) since 2012, she was also on the primetime series Life In Pieces as Clementine for several seasons.

Growing In Popularity

Since its inception in 2018, Nailed It! has run for four standard seasons, as well as two-holiday-themed specials. The series has received commercial as well as critical acclaim.

Nailed It! was nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards – twice for Outstanding Competition Program and once for Outstanding Host. That latter nomination proved historic, as Nicole Byer became the first African American female to be submitted into the category

Nailed It! Double Trouble premieres on March 26 on Netflix. You can watch the official trailer below. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
