A Disastrous Confession
The day Dina (Marla Adams) spilled the truth about Jack’s paternity everything changed for Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson).
It’s the kind of scandal that can rip the entire Abbott clan apart and do serious damage at Jabot.
Jack’s (Peter Bergman) entire identity is wrapped up in being John’s son and if he ever found out it what seems to be the truth, it would have devastating consequences. Poor Jackie would never get over the heartbreak or the humiliation.
Protecting the Family
The ladies made a conscious decision to keep it all to themselves – even after DNA tests showed offered proof.
While spilling it all would be justice for Ashley, she just can’t justify hurting her brother or airing all her mother’s dirty laundry.
Dina’s already suffering enough and wouldn’t be able to onslaught of hatred that would surely come her way.
