The General Hospital recap (GH) for Thursday, April 19 features frantic families wondering what happened to an old man and a little girl.
Both Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Ava (Maura West) got on TV and made a plea to anyone who knows of Mike and Avery’s whereabouts.
However, Sonny was later surprised when Detective Chase (Josh Swickard) told him he wanted to talk to Carly (Laura Wright) about their encounter at the cemetery.
Meanwhile, Griffin (Matt Cohen) told Carly her tests came back normal so there’s nothing physically wrong with her. He then referred her to Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and she insisted she’s not crazy and she knows what’s been happening is real.
Back at the PCPD, Julian (William deVry) stopped by to support Ava and suggested maybe someone from Ava’s mafia past took Avery. She realized he could be right, but then Griffin was there to comfort her and pray, something the Jeromes weren’t too sure about.
As for Sonny and Carly, he chastised her for being at Morgan’s grave rather than with Mike and Avery.
At the hospital, Franco (Roger Howarth) decided it was time to finally confront Betsy and he let out his anger, but not as much as he expected to. He blamed her for what happened to him and the other little boys after him because she never reported what she knew.
But, he also told her that if she hadn’t confessed all to Drew (Billy Miller), he wouldn’t have known to come looking for him and then save his life. Franco later told Liz (Rebecca Herbst) he was surprised he could almost forgive Betsy.
Memories…But Not Really
Since Drew is the one who drove Carly to the hospital to meet with Griffin, he was there to also run into Kim (Tamara Braun).
They began talking about Oscar (Garren Stitt), spending time together, and the past he doesn’t remember, so they agreed to spend even more time together. Could there be a life for Drew without Sam?
