The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wild Spec: A Triangle You’ve Never Seen Before

Now that classic episodes are done and new The Young and the Restless spoilers back, it’s no spoiler to say that this show cut its eye-teeth on love triangles involving brothers and sisters. At one point, Lori was married to Lance, Leslie was married to Lucas, but Lance was the father of Leslie’s baby, who was being raised by his aunt Lori while everyone thought his father was his Uncle Lucas. You got that? (As Victor would say.)

We’ve also watched brothers Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Adam (Mark Grossman) duke it out over Sharon (Sharon Case), Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), and Sage (Kelly Sullivan).

But have soaps ever seen a triangle where one woman is fought over… by a brother and a sister? If anyone can do it, YR can. Sure, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) are happy now. But, remember, originally Tessa dated Noah (Robert Adamson). He dumped her, not the other way around.

Winner Takes All

First, Tessa lied to and used Mariah. Then Mariah lied to Tessa. Tessa blackmailed Mariah’s mom. Mariah accused her of cheating with her ex-husband. This is not a steady, stable, or honest relationship.

When last we left the lovers, Mariah had made a big gesture at Tessa’s concert, and now they are happy again. Until the next time. Or until Noah comes back to town. His mother is sick, for goodness sake! Where is he? He should be right here, offering Sharon his support. And if, while he’s there, he and Tessa should reconnect again… You know, for old times’ sake… just friends… catching up.

Mariah got paranoid when Tessa was hanging out with her ex-husband. Will she feel the same way about Noah? Will she have good reason to? Will this finally give this couple more story?
