The Young and the Restless Spoilers Spec: Summer Catfishes Kyle

In The Young and the Restless spoilers one minute, Summer was giddily overjoyed to be eloping with Kyle. The next, she’d snuck out of their hotel room and disappeared. She paid a waiter to secretly record Kyle (Michael Mealor) and send her the footage. Summer (Hunter King) was furious to hear that Kyle, who’d just been dumped, had reactivated all of his dating apps.

After a few days of lurking around Genoa City in the devious disguise of a floppy hat and dark glasses, Summer reappeared, just in time to accuse Kyle of still being in love with Lola (Sasha Calle), and then of flirting with Sally (Courtney Hope).

Considering how completely unhinged she’s acting, here’s what we suspect Summer’s next move will be:

Reel Them In

Summer seemed particularly upset that Kyle was back on… uh… GCFate or GCHarmony, or whatever dating apps they use in Genoa City. If she would go so far as to pay someone to spy on her ex-fiancé then threw a temper tantrum that the man she dumped dared to go on with his life, what’s to stop her from creating a fake profile to catfish Kyle and prove her point?

Living on the Edge

And what is Summer’s point, exactly? It’s that he doesn’t love her and never did. And what is her evidence? It’s that he is still pleasant to his ex-wife, Lola. And a man who is pleasant to his ex-wife is a man who could never, ever love someone else. Not even the woman he left said ex-wife for.

So if Summer gets Kyle to fall in love with the fake online persona she creates, that will prove that he can’t be faithful. To Summer. The woman who dumped him.
