A House Of Secrets

Amanda (Mishael Morgan) hasn’t spent much time with Sutton (Jack Landron) but already something is not sitting right with us about this man. He needs Amanda to defend his honor, take on Victor Newman, and pretend like the past did not exist. What’s worse, he’s admitted to knowing everything about her and Hilary’s lives. Every single detail.

Does this mean he knew when Hilary went to the hospital and was on her death bed? We’re sure it does. In fact, we’re sure he did a lot more than just monitor what was going on. We think he made it look like she died but instead he paid off some staff to fake it and stole her away.

How you may ask? Well, soap fans, let’s remember Mr. Ames is a powerful politician with connections to some of the most influential people in the land.

Hilary is not six feet under. No, she’s at a secret Ames family compound with around-the-clock care. And, yes, he has the baby too. The little one is the apple of their great grandpa’s eye and being secretly raised by a group of nannies.

A Moral Conundrum

Okay, so Sutton has Hilary, now what? Spoilers show he is a manipulator. Would Sutton go so low as to use Hilary’s existence against Amanda? A bargaining chip, perhaps? Get me off on these charges and I’ll give you your sister and nephew?

That would be a dream for Amanda. She would get a chance to fill in the missing pieces of her heart, right? Maybe not. Amanda is falling hard for Devon (again). What if she falls hard, fast, and the love is all-encompassing? She would certainly know what her sister’s ‘resurrection’ could do to destroy everything.

Amanda may have Hilary’s face, Hilary’s voice, and Hilary’s genes, but she is not Hilary. There is no way Devon (Bryton James) will stay with her if Hilary and their child are on the scene. This could have Amanda going down a very, very dark path.
