Exciting The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, October 12 promise a day when secrets, lies, and scandals take center stage.

Billy Makes Another Big Mistake!
Billy’s (Jason Thompson) downward spiral continues as he pushes Jill (Jess Walton) even further away. Not only is he out of the house, but he’s also quitting Brash & Sassy. He wants nothing more to do with his meddling mama and says it’s time to become his own man.

This is good and bad news for Cane (Daniel Goddard). He won’t have to clean up after Billy anymore, but his workload just got a heck of a lot bigger. With great power comes great responsibility. With Billy out of the picture, he’s one step closer to gaining full control of the company.

Hilary Rethinks Her Good Girl Image!
Brash & Sassy isn’t the only company having office issues. Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) can’t seem to agree on anything when it comes to GC Buzz. While the show was supposed to be jam-packed full of fluff pieces and gentle stories, Hilary is counting the cash they’re missing out on by not getting dirty. They need to make a play on the big stories regardless of who it hurts.

The Walls Are Closing in on Sharon!
Across town, Nick (Joshua Morrow) starts to worry about Sharon (Sharon Case). She’s not acting like herself these days, and he wants to know why. If something is bothering her, he wants to know so he can help. Nick swears he’ll be there for Sharon always, no matter what, he just needs her to open up to him.

Sharon may want to think about coming clean to her ex-husband. Paul (Doug Davidson) is on his way to the hospital to see Patty (Stacy Haiduk), and there’s no telling what she’ll say. Even Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is worried about the outcome and urges her mother to come clean.
