The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Neil’s Past Begins to Haunt Him

Brand new The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal an innocent family tree project could lead to a Winters clan disaster.

Discovering the Past
The Ashby twins are researching their heritage for school and getting all their family branches in order. They know all there is about their Genoa City and Austrailian families, but nothing about Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) history. When Lily (Christel Khalil) asks him about his youth, Neil is anything but helpful.

Neil’s Disconnect
Neil hasn’t spoken to his parents in years and isn’t sure if they’re even alive. He put them behind him a long, long time ago and doesn’t even miss them. Their absence in his life is more of a blessing than a curse. He has no desire to contact them and have them in his life again.

Her father’s blasé attitude towards his parents worries Lily. She doesn’t understand what could have gone so wrong that he cut his family out of his life and never looked back. Too many years have come and gone without even a second thought. Were things so bad that Neil’s estrangement is necessary forever, or is it time to sort out the mess and bury the hatchet?

A Chance to Reconnect?
Will Lily heed Neil’s warnings to leave the past alone and let it rest? She’s a family oriented gal and wants her twins to know all their is about their family. In her quest to help her kids to learn about their past, she could open an old wound that will never heal again.
