The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, April 6, 2021, preview Jack doing damage control after Kyle and Ashland’s chat, while Chelsea may be in need of some damage control of her own when she celebrates Adam’s downfall… a bit prematurely.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) assured Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) that their plan was foolproof. They framed Adam (Mark Grossman) for trying to kill Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), prompting him to go on the run. This way, he’s out of Chelsea’s hair, away from Conner (Judah Mackey), and no one will ever be the wiser. She said.
But Adam knows he’s been framed, and he’s convinced Sharon (Sharon Case). They are on the case, and they’re not going to stop before Adam’s name is cleared. Which means Chelsea shouldn’t stop with her poor, paralyzed, pitiful me act. Especially when she’s now being watched.
Jack (Peter Bergman) warned Kyle (Michael Mealor) against meeting with Ashland (Richard Burgi) on his own. Let Daddy take care of it. But Kyle wanted to show off how he could handle anything – even when his own girlfriend didn’t believe he could.
So he went and met with Ashland. And was promptly asked whether Kyle had slept with Ashland’s wife. Kyle stammers his way out of the awkward moment, but he knows this isn’t over. Not by a long shot. So Kyle turns to Jack for advice. (Because he listened so closely last time.) Jack has slept with many another man’s wife. (Including his own father’s. Yes, that would be Jill.)
He has some ideas for how to rectify the situation, but it will only work if Kyle actually listens. And as long as he consciously stays away from the obvious bait that is Tara – and possibly his – son, Harrison Locke. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
