Phyllis’s plans to destroy Summer’s wedding have all failed. so far. Brand-new The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that she’s about to up the ante.

Phyllis Doesn’t Take Failure Well
According to the August 29th edition of Soap Opera Digest, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is almost ready to give up. She’s weary of all the begging, pleading, and scheming just to keep her daughter away from Luca.

Even teaming up with Victor (Eric Braeden) didn’t work out. Luca’s (Miles Gaston Villanueva) covered all his tracks, including making sure Travis (Michael Roark) doesn’t return to town. Phyllis can’t keep this going and is losing hope.

However, there’s still one more thing she hasn’t tried! Summer (Hunter King) may not listen to her the Newmans, but there could be one person who can talk some sense into her. Super Girl’s big brother will fly in to make a surprise appearance at the grand event, and Phyllis hopes her son can help.

A Brother to the Rescue?
Daniel (Michael Graziadei) may not be a schemer like his mom, but Summer’s well-being needs to come first. He’s there to see what all the fuss is about and decide for himself is Luca has to go. Daniel isn’t one to cause drama, but he can’t stand idly by and watch his sister marry a man if his family doesn’t approve.

Will Daniel be the one to get through to Summer and stop the wedding? He’s everyone’s last hope to save her from the Santori Snake for good.
