The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, March 12, 2020, promises a shocking day that will leave jaws on the floor. A fan-favorite player is coming home and her return will shake up Billy’s world.
Billy’s (Jason Thompson) talking-to by Ashley (Eileen Davidson) puts a lot into perspective for the bad boy. He’s too old for all these games, his children need him to clean up his life, and he is no good without stability. He may not be able to get his family back but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t live his best life.
So, Billy does the right thing for once and shows up to see his mom. This is all great for Jill (Jess Walton). She spent the day in a panic about her boy and here he is wanting to accept her lucrative offer, roll up his sleeves, and get down to work. Yay, right?! Not so fast.
Jill knows her son is close to falling apart and while she’s open to setting him up, she can’t rely on blind faith and trust. Billy needs some backup, a partner (babysitter) if you will. And, she has the perfect person in mind.

Billy is shocked to hear his mom wants someone watching over him and almost throws a temper tantrum until his new partner walks in the room. It’s none other than Lily (Christel Khalil)! Oh yes, she’s back (for how long?) and ready to share the load of launching this massive endeavor.
Is this it? Is Lily home for good, finally? Maybe. With Cane (Daniel Goddard) gone, there is no reason to stay away now. She can have her fresh start but in a place she knows, loves, and surrounded by good friends.
Could this be the start of something really, really new for Billy and Lily? He’s done with Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Amanda’s all about being friends, and he could use a woman in his corner. It could be hot to pair up these two and watch their chemistry sizzle! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
