On The Young and the Restless, Summer knows a secret about Sally. So Sally learned a secret about Kyle. Sally threatened to tell all if Summer and Kyle tell all. So they seem to be in a state of mutually-assured destruction.

Nothing But Sunshine

Summer (Hunter King) is the true innocent in all this, 36% of the audience insists. All she wanted to do was destroy the reputation and career prospects of a woman who came to Genoa City and dared to not only get a job at the same company as Summer but smile and say hello to Summer’s boyfriend!

Summer had no choice but to go to Los Angeles and dig up all the dirt in Sally’s (Courtney Hope) closet. The fact that Sally dared to fight back just proves that she has no right to so much as set foot into Summer’s hometown.

Little Boy Lost

It’s Kyle (Michael Mealor) who is the least to blame, 34% counter. All he did was sleep with a married woman and father her child. Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) wants nothing to do with Kyle, but Kyle wants to get to know his son. Even as he trembles in fear of Tara’s husband, Ashland (Richard Burgi).

Poor Kyle. Was he supposed to know where babies come from? Was he supposed to keep his distance from a married woman? Even when she was hot? How was he supposed to know either of those things? And why in the world should he suffer the consequences… for anything he ever did?

Troublemaker
