The Young and the Restless Recaps: Bullying, Scheming, And Jeopardy

 Comments

The Young and the Restless recaps for March 22-26, 2021, features Rey putting up the fight of his life, Adam and Faith realizing that they’re getting played for saps, and Kyle seriously losing his cool.

The Young and the Restless Recaps Highlights

Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) condition continued to deteriorate, but Elena (Brytni Sarpy) and Nate (Sean Dominic) manage to find the root cause for his collapse – thallium poisoning. And while the antidote was injected, a sweep of Rey and Sharon’s (Sharon Chase) abode was conducted.

The results were unsettling. All of the poison had been found in items used exclusively by Rey. Ergo, they weren’t looking at accidental ingestion but rather a targeted hit!

But who could commit such a foul act against such a thoroughly decent fellow? Could it maybe, possibly be Adam (Mark Grossman)?

Lie About

As the evidence mounts against him, an unaware Adam attempted to figure out the identity of the person responsible for sending those pleading text messages to Sharon from his tablet.

He learns far too late that the culprit is none other than his supposedly immobile lover, and he struggles to understand her endgame. If only he had insight into Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) deliciously deranged mind. In that event, he’d know that she was the one who poisoned Rey (!), burgled Sharon and Rey’s house (!), and arranged for all of the evidence to be found amongst his possessions!

Catfish

Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) was subjected to further ridicule and abuse from her schoolmates after falling victim to a catfishing scam perpetrated by Jordan. In her grief, Faith absconded from the Newman Ranch with her arms full of grandpa Victor’s (Eric Braeden) favorite tequila.

Mama Drama

Amanda (Mishael Morgan) was surprised to receive an SOS from Naya (Ptosha Storey), and even more so once she was apprised of her mother’s issue. Turns out, Amanda’s biological grandfather is being accused of orchestrating the death of her biological father…would she have any interest in representing the old man?

And if not, perhaps the deal can be sweetened. How does public recognition sound? How about a permanent place within the family?

Locke Down

Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) fear that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) might have rumbled his and Tara’s (Elizabeth Leiner) long ago affair was exacerbated by a phone call from the man himself. He’ll be back in GC sooner rather than later, and he’d like to meet up for a chat!

Baby Steps

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) underwent her first implantation procedure, everybody crowded around her and began the waiting process. Just nine days until they’ll know whether or not the embryo took. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
