The Young and the Restless Recaps: Monday, December 27
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Abby Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) reconnected. Chelsea insists to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) that she’ll only come aboard Newman Fashions if she’s made Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) superior.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) shared a rapprochement…Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) tells Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) that she’ll be vacating the apartment above Crimson Lights in order to move in with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Sharon offers Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) the tenancy.
Nate encourages a melancholy Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to ask Abby and Chance to amend Dominic’s custody agreement…Sally attempts to forge a connection with Tessa. Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) warns his ex to be wary of the mercenary designer.
Young and Restless Recaps: Tuesday, December 28
Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) realizes that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is faking his relapse. As a result, Billy is forced to explain his scheme to get Adam to slander him in print so that he can, in turn, threaten a lawsuit. Victoria agrees to keep mum – but only if Billy capitulates to her demands.
Devon stuns Abby and Chance with his request for shared custody of Dominic…Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) tells Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that he’ll be spending his birthday (coincidentally New Year’s Day) with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman Abbott (Hunter King). Phyllis is further put out to hear from Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is in New York City on business.

Y&R Recaps: Wednesday, December 29
In exchange for her silence, Victoria insists that Billy make good on his threat to sue Adam for libel, thus providing Newman/Locke the opportunity to stage a hostile takeover of Newman Media. Billy agrees – on the proviso that he be named CEO of the acquired division.
Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) announces that his cancer has begun to respond to the experiential treatment…Chelsea and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) make nice at Society…Adam and Sally make tentative plans to ring in the New Year together…Tessa and Mariah share with Sharon their plans to adopt. Afterward, they worry over Sharon’s subdued reaction.

Abby remains chagrined over Devon’s request for shared custody of the baby…Chloe is disheartened to learn that Chelsea is still pinning for Adam…Chelsea attempts to manipulate Adam into a reconciliation…Phyllis agrees to ring in the New Year with Lauren (Tracey Bregman), Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), Chloe, and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart).
